1. The first step is the project construction

     • Why starting a new factory? (Project
       sense for teammates, users, citizens, shareholder)

     • Define the project perimeter (physical, legal, financial, information, human, building…)

     • What are the final targets to achieve, any intermediate steps?

     • What are the main KPI?

2. The 2nd step is the theoritical conception ⇒ the MIFD (Material & Information Flow Diagram)

   • • Starting by external physical flow analysis

     • Then external information flow analysis

     • To validate the external MIFD

     • After external MIFD, prepare the internal MIFD ⇒ analyse existing situation

     • Then build process & logistic database & improvment ideas

     • To write the target MIFD (external & internal) macro then micro validation

3. Then finalize the factory conception

   • • Starting from the production lines (workstations, conveyors & flowracks)

     • Then internal logistics (flowrack, material delivery, supermarket/material preparation)

     • Then external logistics (up & downstream)

     • Finalize it by the lay out

4. Time to start the realization (all steps to be conducted simultaneously)

   • • fiscal – legal

     • building construction

     • management control - accounting

     • HR – human

     • EDP

     • Production

     • Up & down stream supply chain

     • Support services (safety, quality, maintenance, CI, methods, industrialisation, environ…)

5. Let’s start production & ramp up
