PILOT RUN
1. LEARN BY YOURSELF & CHALLENGE YOUR WAY OF DOING
WHY

The aim of the Pilot Run is to ensure that your production will be stable, reliable and profitable.
WHAT

Manufacturing a small quantity of products in 100% mass production condition. Workers trained, Tools validated , SOP in place , line in place, quality control implemented, good packaging & user manual validated ready. The number of products should be enough representative of your future production. A Pilot Run can be only launched when the Technical and Industrial feasibility are validated. 100% mass production conditions are available.

NB: pilot run is an objective STATUS of the project not a date !
HOW

-
See by yourself and observe carefully stability of the manufacturing process
-
Check KPI of the line (nb of workers, quantity of good product/h, quantity of bad product/h…)
-
Validate Quality control plan efficiency and conformity to functional products (remember that the quality control plan is before all a tool to check STABILITY of product and not functionality)
-
If all above point are OK, then take randomly 3 products (1 for supplier, 1 for DPP, 1 for PB) and validate them as master sample
BENEFITS

Stable, reliable and profitable processes
